After 25 years on SAP and next to zero effort on master data, Incitec Pivot Limited (IPL) has learned its lesson! Data is the lifeblood of any business in today’s world, and this is no different for IPL.
As IPL began its journey down the path to SAP S/4HANA®, it didn’t take long for the business to realize that we have been asleep at the wheel when it comes to master data governance and data quality. So we began to look for a tool that could effectively manage all our maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) materials, assets, procurement, vendors, customers, and any other discipline that we required. We feel that we found a tool that meets our needs that is helping us move from a space of ignorance to one of understanding that has generated questions we never knew that we needed to ask.
